Homecoming Moved to Plan B

As people were beginning to arrive for the informal Friday evening gathering, so were the dark clouds. By 8:00 it was completely dark and straight line winds and rain had taken over. By morning, with power lines down all around the campus and no power (not regained until Monday), it was obvious that summer Homecoming 2017 and the New Ways final concert would have to go to Plan B! Thankfully, all were safe.

The Saturday afternoon activities had to be cancelled, but Wildewood Christian Church graciously and generously allowed us to hold our BBQ and one final New Ways concert in their building. We are extremely grateful to them. We still had a great crowd and plenty of stories to share about the storm!
