COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear NCC Students,
Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts recently issued a Directed Health Measure that limits group sizes in four Nebraska Counties. Sarpy County, where Nebraska Christian College is located, is one of those counties. The Directed Health Measure limits group sizes to 10 people or less.
As a result, Nebraska Christian College will be moving to an online format to teach all courses for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.
SPRING BREAK FOR TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Spring Break will continue this week for Traditional Undergraduate Students and end on Friday, March 27.
HIU ONLINE COURSES FOR NCC STUDENTS
HIU online courses began on Monday, March 23 normal.
TRANSITION TO ONLINE LEARNING
Traditional undergraduate classes that were scheduled to be taught on the campus of NCC, will be taught online beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, throughout the rest of the semester. Please expect to receive additional information on the transition to online learning from your professors and the online learning format for your classes this week.
RESIDENCY STUDENTS
If you are a student that is enrolled in a local residency, the Director of the Ministry Honors Program will be in contact with you this week regarding Residency credits.
RESIDENCE HALLS
If you are a student living on campus in the Residence Halls, please plan on retrieving your belongings at your earliest convenience. In order to comply with our Directed Health Measure, we will be required to coordinate traffic in the dormitory and limit group sizes on campus.
Students will need to coordinate with the Dean of Students to retrieve their belongings and sign up for a time slot to come to campus and move out. We understand that this is an uncertain time and some students may not be able to immediately come to campus. If you are a student and unable to move out of the dorms, please coordinate an alternate plan with the Dean of Students.
MENTAL HEALTH
During this time of uncertainty, we recognize that our student community is facing significant and unforeseen circumstances and feelings over the concern for family and friends, disruption to the learning environment, the loss of an athletic season-just to name a few. Amidst all of this and more, we wanted you to know that you are deeply loved and that we are praying for you and your families.

If you are attempting to contact a person on campus, please attempt to contact them via Canvas, NCC Email, or by Office phone. Several staff members have been working remotely, plan to follow up any phone call with an email.
