PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • The A.A. degree in Christian Ministry prepares students to serve effectively within the local church at the non-professional level. The degree consists of components in Biblical and Theological Studies, General Education Studies, and Ministry Studies. This degree provides students with a foundation for Christian life and service.

  • Students will gain competence in knowing God’s Word and applyingit to his or her life and ministry, and will have confidence in his or herability to faithfully share the Christian gospel in diverse settings.

  • Students will also have the ability to work with other church leaders harmoniously and productively on a non-professional level.

  • Students will gain an increasing base of general knowledge as afoundation for cultural proficiency and a variety of career path andwill improve their oral, written, and multimedia communication skills.
